HOW IT IS MADE
Our products are made for 16mm MDF - commonly known as Super-wood or MDF. The components are cut via digital CNC cutting from 2.7m flat sheets. After cutting the pieces are sanded, primed and finally sprayed in a high gloss finish called 'duco'. The paint finish is lead free, completely smooth and very easy to clean.

Products are assembled via components and each product thus needs the exact amount of pieces, assembled correctly, to work.
COLOURS
Our product works on a two colour design: White + X
A: Our standard offering or 'X colour' is timeless baby-grey. This nuetral option gives you the room to style your nursery any way you like, for your boy or girl, or ideally both if you plan to have more than one child.
B: Custom colours can be made to order to match any standard paint swatch. This gives you the freedom to make your nursery match perfectly or for the more adventurous, to try something completely new!
Note*: Custom colours do carry an additional 10% charge as well as an extra 5 days lead time. A custom colour choice applies as white + one colour – applied to the full set. Special requested can be requested and will be quoted based on specifications.

C: Birchply or"wood-look" available for a more natural style nursery. As mentioned above to achieve this look we use a solid wood substructure called birch-ply which is a stronger (harder) type of wood when compared to Superwood (a pressed wood composite). On the price list you will note that is is also a more expensive option for this reason.
MATERIALS
With our product you have a choice of two materials namely, 16mm Superwood and Birchply. The main difference is that superwood is a compressed synthetic board where Birchply is a solid hardwood.

Secondly, with Birchply you have the option of a natural wood look where with Superwood the unit has to be painted.

Lastly, Birchply is more hard wearing because it is a harder material but this is only important when handling and assembling the components. For example a superwood clip could break if dropped directly onto a hard floor where a Birchply clip will most probably just dent. We are howeevr confident in our product as we only use locally manufactured Superwood as it is more dence and quality controlled better.
